Choose gameplay
Pick the source family your server is built on. Classic is the range PointX supports today; the others are on the way.
01 — what the work covers
- Source maintenance in C++ and C# (Visual Studio)
- Game systems and client UI customisation
- SQL Server player data and live operations
- VPS, DNS and launcher configuration
- Launch websites and player dashboards
- Payment integration and top-up automation
- Server branding and identity
- Live technical support and community operation
02 — game updates
Included at no extra cost, within the scope of the active partnership and plan.
- Source updates
- New features agreed as part of the plan
- Client-side adjustments
- Bug fixes
- Stability improvements
Work that falls outside the agreed scope, such as a large custom system or a full client rebuild, is quoted separately. I will say so before starting rather than after.
03 — owner responsibilities
A server is a shared job. I handle the build; the owner runs the community. These are the parts that stay on your side.
- Lead decisions about gameplay direction, with my input where past launches and player retention are relevant.
- Keep access to the hosting and infrastructure the project depends on.
- Hold a professional standard in how the community is run.
- Take part in events and official activities.
- Handle issues and disputes respectfully and constructively.
- Check with me before decisions that touch security, stability, source changes, or major game updates.
- Communicate requirements clearly, accurately, and in good time.
04 — faq
What is included in each plan?
It depends on whether you pick Basic, Pro or Enterprise. The comparison above lists every inclusion side by side, including which plans come with the Ran Online panel system and test hosting.
What is single server deployment?
The Basic Plan covers one server deployment: a single project launch. Maintenance, normal fixes and ongoing deployment work on that same active project are part of it and are not treated as a new server.
If that server permanently closes and you later want to launch a different one, that counts as a new project and a new development fee applies.
What is unlimited server deployment?
Unlimited server deployment means the plan is not capped at one launch. Under an ongoing development partnership, further launches and redeployments can be supported within the plan's scope without buying the same initial deployment plan again for every server.
It does not mean free infrastructure. Domains, hosting, licences, third-party services, and unusually large custom development outside the plan's scope are still paid separately.
Is web hosting included?
No, unless a plan explicitly states it. Pro and Enterprise include free test hosting, which is for building and checking the server before launch. It is not permanent production hosting.
Is a domain included?
No. You buy and own the domain. That is deliberate: it should stay yours.
What do I need before applying?
A clear idea of the server you want, a preferred gameplay range, a rough sense of which plan fits, and a working email address.
You do not need hosting, a domain, or source files before you send an inquiry. We work that out during review.
What happens after I apply?
You submit the form, verify your email with a one-time code, and land in your dashboard. From there I review the inquiry and get in touch about scope, timeline and next steps. Your dashboard shows the status the whole way through.
Do I need existing Ran Online source files?
No. The form asks whether you already have source files, and the answer changes the scope rather than disqualifying you. We settle that during review.
Is the Ran Online panel included?
Basic: no. Pro: yes. Enterprise: yes.
Is test hosting included?
Basic: no. Pro: yes. Enterprise: yes.
Test hosting is for development and checking. Production hosting for a live server is separate.
What are source updates?
Applicable bug fixes, features, gameplay changes, client-side adjustments and other improvements agreed as part of the plan. Anything well outside that scope is quoted before it starts.
How does the 70/30 gross profit sharing work?
Gross profit from the server is split 70% to the owner and 30% to the developer.
The specifics of accounting and payout timing are agreed in writing before the project starts, not decided by this page.
Is there a payment gateway?
Not through this application yet. Nothing is charged here. Payment arrangements are handled directly after review, and online payment is planned for a future update.
Can I apply if I already have a running server?
Yes. The form has an option for an existing server, and the questions about your current stage, source files and hosting are there for exactly that case.
Can I change gameplay later?
Sometimes, but a significant gameplay or source change affects scope, timeline and cost. Raise it before implementation starts rather than midway through.
How long does development take?
I will not give you a number before seeing the project. It depends on the gameplay range, which systems you want, the state of the source you are starting from, how ready your hosting is, and how much custom work is involved.
You get a realistic estimate after review, and I would rather it be accurate than short.
Can I request custom features?
Yes, subject to technical feasibility and agreed scope. If something is not practical on your chosen source, I will tell you why rather than quietly leave it out.
What happens if my server closes?
On the Basic Plan, one deployment is covered. If the server permanently closes and you want to launch a new one later, that is a new project with a new fee.
On Pro and Enterprise, further launches are supported within the plan's scope, with infrastructure costs still paid separately.
Will my information be shared with other Ran Online servers?
No. Inquiry information is not passed to unrelated servers or communities. The privacy section below sets out what is collected and why.
Can I get a refund?
The standing position is no return, no exchange. Development time is spent as the project runs, and it cannot be recovered.
There is one exception. If PointX Development fails to develop or deliver the agreed server project, you may be entitled to a refund, subject to applicable law and the agreed project scope.
This is a project policy written in plain terms. It does not override consumer protection law where you live.
